Homeschooling… The Dark Side

Homeschooling The Dark Side

Homeschooling is a serious matter. There is much to be considered before undertaking the task of educating children. We seek sage advice, wise counsel, vetted information. We are careful to paint homeschooling with the most beautiful strokes possible.

But… once in awhile… it can be therapeutic to share the experiences that didn’t turn out quite as planned.

Welcome to the series that pulls the curtains back and shines honesty, humor, and soul-searching reality on topics pertaining to homeschooling. These are tales of grand plans, field trips, and regular ol’ days that didn’t go quite right.

After many years of home education, we’ve got quite a few stories to share. Some stories were products of their time and technology. Others are as true about homeschooling today as the day they took place.

Whether you’re a veteran home educator or new to this way of life, join us as we laugh, groan, and repent together. And if you’ve got a story to share, drop us a line. We’d love to include it. All names changed to protect the “innocent,” of course!

Episode I: No One Home on Stanford Day, or The Straw That Broke the Camel’s Back
