Welcome to Northern Gulf Coast Home Educators! We are a support network for all home-educating families in the Deep South. We love to share information, plan field trips & events, and organize service opportunities for the Gulf Coast homeschool community. If you are a home-educator, friend, supporter, or want to learn more about homeschooling, you are welcome here!
An Update On Our Progress: The website’s migration from the old host to the new is complete. Nothing should look any different than before. If you do encounter any broken links or irregularities, please report them to us via email or comment on an individual post or page.
Current email subscribers will continue to receive notifications of new posts. Nothing more needs doing in that regard. Our fellow bloggers who follow us on WordPress.com will see our new posts in their WP Readers. Click on the “Follow On WordPress” button to once again receive email notifications when our new posts hit your Readers.

Now that I’ve read the Welcome page, where do I go from here?
If you’re not familiar with NGCHE, our About and FAQ’s pages are a great place to begin. If you heard of an interesting field trip or class and want to get the scoop right away, jump in to Homeschool Events or Community Events. If you need some help getting started or are looking for info on homeschooling, try our Resources page. The Calendar has a list of our activities and deadlines all in one place, plus select community happenings and other need-to-know dates such as holidays and testing.
How do I Navigate the Website?
Use the tabs just under the header to move between our static pages. The Blog page contains our posts in reverse chronological order. The menus on the right-hand side of the page allow you to access those posts by recent activity or category.
Thank you for visiting! Take your time and look around. We think of our followers as our friends and look forward to meeting everyone in person. We are excited about the future at NGCHE. More activities, features, partnerships, and trips are yet to come. We hope you’ll be a part of what’s in store!
